Because she’s only 4 months old, and because she’s a sheep, Melanie doesn’t know why the skies are alive with helicopters buzzing around, she doesn’t know why she got a display from the and she certainly doesn’t know that she’s a sheep who lives in the vicinity of home of the …but if she did she’d certainly be saying well done Lewis Hamilton!

Chestnut Eco Lodge is in the middle of woodland on our family farm and sleeps 2 in a double bed with log burner. En suite with hot shower and composting toilet. Kitchenette with under counter fridge and gas hob, outdoor oven/pizza oven and fire pit with bbq swing arm. Also includes bluebell tiny hut for a cosy reading nook or pull out sofa bed for additional space. Dogs welcome.

Happy New Year from the very soggy farm! We have welcomed so many lovely guests to Chestnut Lodge all through the year and the bell tents back in the summer and look forward to hosting more of you in 2024!
Thanks to everyone who has been to celebrate the festive season with us…Despite what it looks like, we haven’t added a fishing lake 🤣 Let’s hope the rain stops now!!

*Availability update* We only have 2 weekends left available in chestnut lodge for the rest of 2023, weekends beginning 1st December and 8th December. If you are planning on visiting for the weekend then get in touch to save your dates now.
Remainimg midweek dates in October are 2 nights beginning monday 9th October and dates from 15th-20th October.
We still have plenty of midweek space in November and December.

Sometimes cancellations occur, because life happens, and we will keep you updated on this page if any new dates open up.

It’s just the best way to start a new week! Waking up on Monday morning to 12 new arrivals! This particular mum is so relaxed and sociable that she doesn’t mind us having a quick piglet squeeze, and as we don’t get to do that often we can’t turn down the opportunity!

Sleeping 8 in 2 tents this is ideal for 2 families getting together (or if you want to kick the children out into their own tent)! The 2 bell tents (only booked together, not separately) are pitched next to each other in our woodland setting in the middle of our family farm. The pitch has its own compost toilet outhouse and shower cubicle with heated lpg shower. Each tent is set up to sleep 4, so 8 in total, with a double futon and 2 single chair beds in each tent (bedding not provided). Outside their is a well equipped campers kitchen with gas stove and a fire pit with bbq swing arm, logs provided.
