As many of you know I love a big adventure!!

So this September I am off to Peru on the Breast Trek Ever with around 20 other travel agents to trek the Inca Trail - I can't believe it!

When the opportunity to trek to Machu Picchu, AND raise money for an amazing cause presented itself, how could I not use this as an incredible way to not just tick off a bucket list item but also do something to benefit a hugely deserving charity?!?!

Did you know that I can book hotels?

As a travel agent I would never advocate for booking flights, hotels etc seperately as this opens up a huge can of worms including not being ATOL protected.

But, if you really must, then why not come to me for this? I have access to bed banks where hotel rooms are often found cheaper than you can find anywhere else including direct with the hotel or on any well know booking sites. This weekend I saved a family £200 off a hotel booking they were going to be making anyway!

Bookings for the next few weeks are still going strong and I have lots of families getting their plans finalised so they can head off for summer fun in the sun!

Lots of people are asking me when is the best time to book - the days of amazing last minute deals seem to be gone so the best time is NOW - ie: as early as you can! The recent rubbish weather means that holidays are being snapped up and availability for this summer is low, and history dictates that prices will likely go up after the election and the Euros. There are still great deals and free child places out there but they'll all be gone if you wait too long!

This company has gone into liquidation meaning that any holidays booked with them through Love Holidays are now at risk of being cancelled with no refund because Love Holidays aren't members of ABTA.

It is so, so important to steer clear of companies who do not hold both ATOL and ABTA membership. These industry bodies are there to protect consumer's rights and although companies who aren't members are often offering some fantastic prices - is it worth it?

I hope that anyone affected by this finds a satisfactory resolution.

This means that a very small portion of our customers’ accommodation and transfer arrangements may be affected. Another incredible week with Gutsy Girls complete and what a week it’s been 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Every time I go on one of these trips I witness incredible things and this week I’ve had the privilege of watching people’s lives change in front of my eyes. These women really are gutsy, but also strong, funny, adventurous, brave, kind and so much fun. Joyful is the word that sums up the week best I think!

It’s been so amazing to become a host and enjoy a trip from a different point of view but it be absolutely no less enjoyable - how can this even feel like work?!?!

Next up, Sardinia in July! Any tips on how to cope with the Italian heat in the height of summer welcome!

Anyone who knows me well will know that there can't be any travel agent better suited to planning an itinerary to include parkrun (or any other running event for that matter)!!
