2022 SERVICES ON THE HORIZON…

It’s a crisp Winter’s day here in Porthmadog, but the days are growing lighter and we have some exciting news to share with you - our 2022 season will start on 26th March.

We are finalising the details of our services, but trains will initially run in a similar style to 2021. However, we are planning to run more trains, with increased capacity, to Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Our heritage carriages will continue to be used between Porthmadog and Tan-y-Bwlch on our popular, family-friendly ‘Woodland Wanderer’ trains.

Welsh Highland Railway services will also remain similar to last year; however, we aim make improvements to our facilities at Beddgelert station.

We are looking at re-introducing ticketing for solo travellers, as well as travel from some intermediate stations - details of which will be announced in due course.

We would like to thank you all for your patience, we are working hard to finalise our plans and hope to have tickets on sale soon..!
