This cosy Norwegian style log cabin is situation in Snowdonia National Park at the Trawsfynydd Holiday Village and has one of a few interrupted views of the Rhinog mountain range. Cadair Idris is to the south and Snowdon to the north. lity pillows and duvets, with mattress and pillow protectors and you just bring your own duvet covers, bottom sheets and pillow slips and towels. Shower room has complimentary shower gel, shampoo, soaps and handgel. It has lounge area with Free4view TV with a DVD player, a fully equipped kitchen, wash area with shower and eating and lounging open porch with open views and decked veranda with picnic bench for alfresco dining. Our kitchen area has everything that you might need including microwave, cooker, fridge and complimentary tea, coffee, sugar etc. washing up liquid, kitchen towel and tea towels. Trawsfyndd Holiday Village has a shop selling all your basic needs and more, including alcohol and offers free Wi Fi, a launderette, a children's play activity area and a Pub, the Rhiw Goch Inn within easy walking distance from the cabin with free Wifi. The Rhiw Goch Inn serves home made food and take away pizzas and a full Welsh Breakfast! They allow dogs in certain areas and have an outside space with wonderful views. The Oakley Arms is just up the road which serves delicious meals and has a lovely atmosphere. Prices start from as little as £65 per night dependent upon weekday, weekend and time of year. Wether you are wanting outdoor pursuits and high adventure, a romantic break, enjoy the tranquility of the coast and countryside or just to have some simple fun, this log cabin is a central base to some of the prettiest villages and activities in North Wales. The accommodation is within close proximity of the quaint, pretty villages of Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Barmouth, Blaenau Ffestiniog, Bala, Begglert, Harlech & Betws-y-Coed with lovely shops and restaurants. It is within short driving distance to visit villages slightly further afield e.g. Caernarfon, Bangor, Tywyn, Llanberis, Dinas Dinlle & Bethesda & Penrthyn. The Portmeirion Village created by Clough Williams-Ellis made famous by The Prisoner series is only a few miles away and is an excellent day out for all the family. The cabin is only 2 miles from Coed y Brenin forest which offers a large number of all-weather mountain bike tracks, offering trails for mountain bikers of all abilities. There are also many walking/running routes through the Forest for all abilities. Other nearby mountain biking areas include the Blaenau Ffestiniog Downhill Trails, the Marin Trail, Penmachno Trail and the Mach Trails. White-water Rafting is available at Canolfan Tryweryn at The National White-water Centre. Sailing and windsurfing sessions at Bala Water Sports Centre on Bala Lake. Glasfryn Park has go karts, quads, bowling, archery and fishing. Red line indoor karting is in Caernarfon and Adventure Mountain has off-road rally karting and quad trekking. Dragon Raiders Paintball Park is located between Criccieth and Pwlheli and Offaxis Wakeboarding and Surfing Academy in Abersoch offers courses or equipment hire. The exciting, new Zip World attraction is nearby in Penrhyn Quarry. There are lots of walks from a gentle stroll to high energy mountain walks. Nearby Trawsfynydd Lake offers fishing for wild native brown trout and rainbow trout. Plenty other fishing opportunities are in abundance in Snowdonia. There are approximately 20 golf courses in Gwynedd including: Aberdovey, Bala, Betws-y-Coed, Dolgellau, Fairbourne Golf Club in the Mawddach Estuary, Royal St. David's below Harlech Castle and Porthmadog. If you would like to visit Castle and Historic Places there is Harlech Castle, Criccieth Castle and Dolwyddelan Castle and small historic sites nearby Castell y Bre in the Dysnii Valley, Cymer Abbey near to Dolgellau and Dyffryn Ardudwy Burial Chambers.
