As a family we would like to say a huge thank you to all our fabulous customers and supporters.

Over the last two weeks we have sold more beef than ever, ever, ever before.

Every last scrap of 4 whole bodies of beef have been sold. Including all the meat, bones and offal.

To be able to literally sell every piece of our beautiful homebred cattle from nose to tail really makes us super thankful.

It makes us beyond proud to see so many people enjoying our pastured beef both locally and across the UK 🇬🇧 To think of our beef being eaten as far north as Glasgow and Edinburgh, as far East as Ipswich and as far South East as Canterbury just blows us away. Plus our brilliant Welsh customers! Is frankly quite bonkers and beyond anything we could have ever imagined.

We couldn’t do it without our fabulous supporters who spread the word about our very small but mighty family farm.

How is it November and nearly Christmas when Cornwall is looking like this?!

Our finishing beef cattle are still out and about and enjoying their 100% pasture diet in our herbal leys.

Did you know the only way to guarantee the meat you are eating has been fed a 100% forage diet throughout its lifetime is to buy meat that carries the ‘Pasture Mark’.

We are beyond proud to display the pasture mark on every piece of our homebred shorthorn beef. From our ribeye steaks to our mince you will find it!

Next week will be our last week of fresh beef until Xmas so get stocked up!

Last night we were crowned ‘Best Farm Processor 2021’ at the Cornwall Farm Business Awards!!

As first generation farmers this award really means the world to us and to say we are overwhelmed is an understatement. As ever we thank everyone who has supported us on our farming journey. 💕

A huge thank you to and for a fabulous evening. for sponsoring the table we were sitting on and for sponsoring our category!! We had a wonderful evening celebrating farming across Cornwall.

Our beef is available from the farm on Fridays or can be ordered before you come

Beef farming as it should be, happy beef bullocks grazing under blue skies.

People often ask how many cows we have and how long does it take to produce our beef? Well here is the answer…

Our cattle are all homebred, currently we have 85 breeding cows with 85 calves at foot. Our 2 gorgeous pedigree shorthorn bulls Logic and Ned. Then 100 followers which includes our finishing beef bullocks, heifers which will enter the breeding herd next month and yearlings (last years calves).

Beef farming is a lengthy cycle but then fantastic produces takes time! Our cattle are finished and ready for ‘beefing’ at just over 2 years old. In that time they are allowed to grow slowly to full maturity just munching on good Cornish grass and our paddocks of herbal leys. When they come in for the winter we feed them our own homegrown silage and hay which you guessed it, it’s 100% Cornish grass!!

Once it is time for ‘beefing’ our cattle are slaughtered just 15 miles from the farm then the carcasses are hung for a minimum of 28 days. We strongly believe that the extra hang time gives the meat a fabulous depth of flavour and soft buttery texture.

The carcasses are then cut for us by our brilliant butchers, we then pick up the meat and it returns to the very place it was born and reared. We then set about making our burgers, kebabs, meatballs, bombs etc. Then pack up our orders and ship direct to our customers nationwide. Or welcome them to the farm to collect from our shop or the
