Storm Darraghs rage! 80 mile an hour winds tore up the sea, creating enormous waves and huge amounts of sea foam, looking like snow on the beach at Perranporth. The high winds shifted tons on sand and nearly engulfed the pub that sits on the beach!

A few miles down the road, the waves can be seen breaking over Gul’s Rocks, at Holywell Bay.

The beautiful North Coast of Cornwall, with its stunning giant cliffs.

Walking the South West Coast Path is a favourite past time of many Cornish folk. With 300miles of coastline to explore, it is great for the mind, body and soul.

You will encounter abandoned buildings from Cornwall’s industrial past, un accessible hidden coves which are great for our wildlife, see the changing seasonal colours of our flora and pass other intrepid explorers and dog walkers in your route. Just follow the yellow arrow and acorn sign posts!

We have had such beautiful weather this autumn, and I have enjoyed many walks this week after getting over a chest infection. Nature has the best healing power.

We love to encourage anyone who tours with us to experience the South West Coast Path and get a little drunk on the beauty it offers.

Guy Fawkes Night 🎆
, remember the fifth of November!

To those of you who are out enjoying the celebrations on this annual event; stay safe and enjoy the show.

For me, today has always meant something more personal; it’s my wonderful mum’s Birthday. This year she celebrates the big 70! But you look great on it mum 💕

Happy Guy Fawkes Night.

Come rain or shine, October is a great time to visit Cornwall.

We may have said good by to the summer, but the autumn vibes are still drawing us outside.

If the weather throws a spanner in your plans, Cornwall offers plenty of indoor adventure, culinary experiences and sheltered woodland walks. There is so much to fill your day and I didn’t even fit in a picture of a luxuary hot chocolate!

We are putting some new tours together for this time next year, so if you fanacy working with our award winning tour business, we would be delighted to plan your visit, experiences and autumn excursions.

Very exciting to see the filming of Beyond Paradise, down at Charlestown yesterday morning. We were even lucky enough to spot the main actors. Kris Marshall & Zahra Ahmadi.

Poor Zehra was wrapped in a dry robe for warmth, a very Cornish sight indeed!

There were plenty of moody skies on the Lizard Peninsula today.

Despite the downpour in the morning, with thunder and lightning, we managed to avoid the rain.

Super low Spring Tides and moody skies, made it even more magical and mysterious on this outcrop of Serpentine stone.

The weather didn’t stop the fisherman heading out to sea at Porthleven. Respect and safe passage.

Did you cross the King Harry Ferry with us?

Perhaps on a tour of the Rural Roseland. A unique experience in a beautiful location, which crosses the Carrick Roads Estuary.

This is Coverack, a small fishing village on the Lizard Peninsula.

The Geology of the area is know worldwide, as it is a junction where the Earths Mantal burst through the Earths Crust some 375 million years ago, creating this unique Peninsula of Serpentine stone and Gabri.

Serpentine has been polished and turned for centuries, by generations of skilled craftsmen.

The harbour was looking stunning today, in the autumn sunshine. ☀️ Thank you Cornwall.

The Arora shone a light over Cornwall again last night.

Thanks to the wonderful photographer Aaron Jenkins, we didn’t have to wait in the cold to see it! Thank you Aaron Jenkin Photography

Beautiful Boscastle today.

The history of the area is deep and alluringly. There are so many historic buildings along its valley entrance, towards its impressive natural harbour.

Delve into the beating heart of the places you visit.

Learn its stories, how it came to be, who are the important characters that shaped the town, learn about its upheavals and struggles and learn about how a community can bounce back from tragedy.

Truly Experience Cornwall, on a guided tour with us, we will bring places to life through story telling.

We still have spaces in October, if you are looking for an autumn getaway. Explore wooded Valleys, visit an Elizabethan Manor House’s, watch the crashing Atlantic waves and experience the quieter side to this beautiful County.

What an epic Coastal walk today. Truly breathtaking in every direction.

The rock formations, the hidden sandy coves, choughs, grey seals, buzzards, lookout post, grazing cattle and a sea swim in a quiet cove.

Cornwall at its best!

It’s that time of year, when the Hydrangeas take centre stage.

So many of our guests can’t get over the variety of species and colours and the abundance and size of our Hydrangeas. They are a beautiful site indeed.

These pictures were taken at Trebah garden yesterday, on our ‘Sub Tropical South’ tour.

Sited in a valley, stretching down to the Helford river, an area which inspired Daphne Du Maurier to write her novel ‘Frenchman’s Creek’. These gardens never disappoint its visitors.

A must see if your in the Falmouth area.
