Due to the Truro Food Festival, both the Wednesday (25th September) & Saturday 28th September) Farmers Markets will be relocating to Boscawen Street. This does mean that road closures will be in place in the city centre.

On Saturday they will be joined by the Cornwall Shop small gang to deliver their usual Big Truro monthly market.

Another brilliant event to celebrate Truro Food Festival and with kind permission from Truro Cathedral, next Saturday will see the fabulous team at Ost in High Cross welcome diners to evening under the stars.

Enjoy a three course meal, starting nibbles as well as including veggie & vegan options this event promises to be a highlight of the Truro Food Festival weekend.

10% of ticket sales are being donated to the wonderful local charity, Hidden Help. Hidden Help help those in urgent need in Cornwall to make a new home and a fresh start with recycled and donated furniture who are referred by social services. Families escaping domestic violence, the homeless, elderly, long term sick and others.

In less then one week Truro Food Festival will be in full swing !

There will be live demonstrations in the Chefs Theatre from some of Truro & Cornwall's top chefs including the amazingly talented Paul Ainsworth. Paul will not only be in the Chefs Theatre but also signing copies of his brand new book, 'For The Love of Food' .

The Quay will be home to cabins filled with delicious treats to buy and on Saturday the fantastic Cornwall Shop Small Team will be back in Truro on Boscawen Street with their colourful stalls filled with artisan gifts, jewellery and lifestyle brands.

The Tapyard are playing host to the after party including a silent disco.

And finally on the Food Festival weekend you can enjoy two delicious dining experiences with Ost in High Cross and the Cornish Vegan in Kenwyn Street. Tickets on sale now !

Have you heard, Truro Cathedral will be welcoming the amazing light and sound show Luxmuralis.

Luxmuralis, the artistic collaboration between Peter Walker Sculptor and David Harper Composer who specialise in immersive fine art, light and sound installations around the UK and abroad, will be coming to Truro Cathedral in January 2025.

For the first time in its history, Luxmuralis will be venturing to Truro to give visitors a thrilling, immersive experience

Truro Cathedral will host Luxmuralisโ€™ โ€˜Spaceโ€™ display between 13-17 January 2025. Space is a spectacular immersive journey for people to walk through and explore the space of the cathedral in a new light.

The last weekend of school holidays and Truro will be celebrating in style with two fantastic events tomorrow.

The Cornwall Shop Small & Truro Farmers Market team will be hosting their regular monthly BIG Truro Market which will be held on Boscawen Street. There will be 60 stalls featuring independent traders including everything from fresh produce, fashion, jewellery and much more.

The fun will continue with Cornwall Pride back who will be back in Truro where it all began. Come and celebrate the largest Pride event in Cornwall with the parade from 12.00 Noon with entertainment on Lemon Quay until 19.00.

Maps can be picked up from either the Visit Truro Visitor Information shop, Boscawen Street or Truro Community Library, Pydar Street.

Follow the map, collect the letters and spell the phase. Once you have collected all the clues head back to the visitor information shop or Library to collect your โ€˜ I Love Denzel Stickerโ€™ and enter the prize draw.
