Just a short stroll from Porthtowan’s beautiful beach, stunning coastal walks, beachside bar restaurant, cafe, village pub, play park, fish and chips, surf school, village and beach shops.

15 - 30 minutes from the coastal resorts of Perranporth and Newquay, the beautiful cathedral city of Truro and the lovely seaside town of St Ives.

Seashells is a light and airy first floor apartment overlooking the beach in Porthtowan, on the north west Cornwall coast between Perranporth and St Ives. It sleeps up to four people, has parking and wonderful sea views from the living room and kitchen. It is just a stroll from the beach, coast path, village pub, beachside restaurants, village shop, beach shop and surf school. A bit off topic, but I have got really into indoor climbing with my son over the past year or so. The Tide is great, so friendly and inclusive and so much fun. It’s a great way for this middle aged woman to do some strength training (as we all know we should) without the boring workouts!

We are now in peak booking season and dates are filling up - please see the screenshots below for our latest availability. From the 5th to 26th April we’re offering a minimum of 4 nights from £440, then from 25th April until 24th May a 3 night minimum from £350. We will then be into peak season with a 7 night minimum stay and Sat arrivals and departures.

The quiet post Xmas period is a time for renewal and refreshment - I will be deep cleaning, painting and making a few improvements over the next three months all ready for the coming season, something that I really enjoy doing 🥰

Our Story

Seashells Porthtowan is a light and airy first floor apartment with wonderful sea views from the living room and kitchen windows, located in the laid back coastal village of Porthtowan on the Cornwall north coast, between Perranporth and St Ives. Seashells sleeps up to 4 in a double and small bunk bed room, family bathroom and open plan kitchen/dining/living area overlooking the beach. Bedlinen and towels (not beach towels), WiFi, well equipped kitchen, washing machine, tumble dryer, books, games and DVDs are provided. There is allocated parking right outside. The apartment is in a quiet location a stone's throw from Porthtowan's beautiful blue flag surf and family beach. The beachside bar restaurant, cafe, village pub, play park and village shop are all a short stroll away. Surf school and hire are available in the village and sea kayaking tours operate nearby. There are glorious cliff walks from the apartment. Porthtowan is about less than minutes from the coastal resorts of Perranporth and Newquay, the beautiful cathedral city of Truro and the lovely seaside town of St Ives.
