We have a full line up of live music from 2-11pm.

The Easter bonnet competition will be at 4:45pm
And the Lantern and light parade will be at 8:30pm.
Throughout the day there will be a small lantern workshop, fairground, hot food, Tywyn seafoods and licensed bar.

Great place to visit. Opens 1st April. Only about half an hour car ride from the cottage.

We will open the Dyfi Wildlife Centre this year on 1st April. That's three weeks this Saturday.

Rhaeadr Dolgoch. Lle hyfryd I fynd am dro I weld y rhaeadr. Gallwch gerdded fyny i orsaf dren Talyllyn neu ymlacio a mwynhau cerdded yn y goedwig yma. Mae yna gaffi yn y maes parcio I fwynhau panad a chacen wedi'r holl gerdded!

Dolgoch Falls. Lovely place to enjoy a walk up to the falls. You can also walk up to the Talyllyn Dolgoch Station to catch the train either up to Abergynolwyn or down to Tywyn. Ideal walk anytime of the year! Dolgoch Falls Hotel is near for a cuppa and snack afterwards too!

Un o fy hoff lefydd I fynd am dro! Castell y Bere. Dysgwch mwy am hanes y lle arbennig yma.

One of my favourite places to go for a walk. Castell y Bere. Learn more about the history of this amazing place.

Welcome to Castell y Bere, at the foot of Cadair Idris in the Dysynni Valley in southern Gwynedd.
It was built in the early 1220's by Llywelyn Fawr as an outpost on his southern frontier. It guarded his cattle range, protected the homeland of Gwynedd and dominated the neighbouring lordship of Meirionnydd. In medieval Wales cattle were as good as currency.
After Llywelyn died his successors continued to use it. It was taken by English king Edward I, in 1283. He made alterations to the castle and hoped an English frontier town would grow there but it never happened. The English abandoned the site during an uprising against their rule in 1294.
