Wonderful news for our local Uig Community and the many visitors to the Isle of Lewis. A boat trip around the Uig coastline on Lochlann is a fantastic experience. We’d highly recommend booking one if you are planning a holiday in 2025.

Not long now till we head to Berlin for an exhibition at ‘Essen und Trinkin Im Museum’ If you are going to be in the city on 18th October at 7pm we’d be delighted if you could join us at the opening.

We’ll be taking a little visual taste of the Outer Hebrides all the way to Germany.

Throughout October, we will be running an A La Carte lunch option on Saturdays, PLUS this year we have extended our season into November, with an A La Carte menu available Friday night, and Saturday lunch (sample menu in comments).

Saturday 12-2 (A La Carte)

Astrophotographer, Alastair Scobie sent us this amazing picture of the Milky Way above Mealaisbhal and the big erratic boulder that sits on the hill above our Croft in Mangersta, Isle of Lewis. He made the image during a recent stay in one of our Shepherd’s Huts. (Thanks Alastair for permission to share your incredible photo!)
