Couldn't ask for a better view from the gate at the end of the garden. Looking back up past Horse Island to Ullapool, My grandmother used to stand here and watch out for my Grandfather coming back in his boat "The Queen" from a trip to Ullapool to land a catch, He would then have to take the boat round to Old Dornie and cycle home. My mum was in digs in Ullapool and they stayed the whole term and if she was lucky she would see him after school and be given eggs, raspberry jam and scones that Granny had made for them.
