When they sleep, sea otters wrap themselves in kelp to ensure they do not float away. They will also hold each others hands to stay close while sleeping

"We have just had the most amazing week in the Ruin, the cottage is absolutely beautiful, the accommodation is second to none and caters for all your needs and more. Couldn't wish for anything more, absolutely perfect, tranquil setting, we had the pleasure of watching porpoises, seals and fishes jumping out of the beautiful Loch. We saw the fighter jets come flying over the Loch what an experience. And the beautiful sea otter coming out of the Loch to eat his supper on the shore, what more could you ask for. Definitely would highly recommend, and the relaxation was definitely worth our 10hr journey from our home to a piece of heaven. Will definitely be returning.
