Dear friends,
A telecom company has submitted a planning application (24/01752/FUL) for the first of a series of three 4G masts running up the Glen. This particular mast sits on top of Loch Damph on Brheun Leitir. It's part of the Rhidorroch - Beinn Dearg - Ben Wyvis Wild Land Area and on the edge of the Rhidorroch SSSI
If you've been there you'll now how it feels to be up there away from it all. One of the appeal of East Rhidorroch is to be in the wilderness, spending time with family and friends disconnected from the rest of the world. You'll also know about how special the Rhidorroch Caledonian forest is and the mast and its wind turbines will directly be overlooking it.
We are all for connectivity and supporting the local community but this is an unnecessary industrialisation of the remote wilderness for almost no benefits and a great deal of harm to the landscape, environment and our rural business and comes at a huge expense of public funds.
If you have 5 minutes you can let the Highland council know if you support or object the application by writing a comment.

We have 2 weeks of deer stalking available during the rut in October. If you are interested in taking part in the deer management on the farm please get in touch. It's a truly special time of year to be in the Highlands and a great one to share with friends and family.
Saturday to Saturday stay in the lodge. 2-4 stags per week.
Everyone is welcome.
