We would like to wish our past and future guests a very Happy New Year 🤩

It’s been a fun year here at The Homestead Holiday Cottage and we can’t wait to see what 2025 brings. It has been a pleasure to meet and host so many wonderful people enjoying the breathtaking Peak District and our little spot of heaven. Hosting the summer horse camps has been a personal highlight and we will be busy making some changes and additions ready for the 2025 camps, and bring your own horses, along with making sure the cottage is the place to be for all of our guests to enjoy their relaxing time away!

The diary is open for the year…..and we have a couple of weekends available ( as well as midweek) in January/ February so please do get in touch to book some time exploring the Peaks and taking some time for yourselves. 🤩

A wonderful new Bridleway gate has been built right on our doorstep! And as you can see, my mare Dd was very happy to test it out 🤩🤩

For all those booked in with their horses next year and haven’t visited us before I can 💯 say this is a massive improvement to the previous gate!

Thank you to the Peak District, National Trust , The British Horse Society and The Staffordshire Bridleway group - it will make a huge difference to me and our guests 🤩🤩🤩

This week we welcomed Perfect Gait Veterinary Physiotherapy and her lovely guests for a super camp. All the humans and horses left feeling totally relaxed, having had a wonderful time learning about ways to improve their horses way of going, keeping them supple and happy in their work 🤩
