This exciting cafe is located in Alstonefield, just down the road from our holiday cottage… a perfect place to take a break on your stroll through the Peaks 😁😁

This week we welcomed Perfect Gait Veterinary Physiotherapy and her lovely guests for a super camp. All the humans and horses left feeling totally relaxed, having had a wonderful time learning about ways to improve their horses way of going, keeping them supple and happy in their work 🤩

Another fantastic equestrian camp, held at our cottage this week, is drawing to a close…we do love to see how relaxed the horses are as soon as they arrive here ❤️

It was an absolute pleasure to host the Aspire Equestrian and Joe Midgley Horsemanship over the weekend. Being so involved in horses ourselves, it’s so exciting to see our holiday cottage being used for these camps. I look forward to welcoming them back in August and being a spectator too!!

This week we welcomed our first horse and rider guests of the 2024 season 🤩 and so far they have enjoyed sunshine ☀️ (!!) and some fabulous days out riding.

We still have some availability over the summer months so please get in touch.

Wow, what a busy Christmas and New Year, we hope you all had a wonderful time and are looking forward to 2024 adventures.

We have had such a fantastic 2023 here at The Homestead, welcoming lovely guests, including the four legged variety, from all over, so thank you to all of our guests for making our 2023 so successful 🤩

For those of you who want to bring your horses on an adventure in the Peak District, this year bookings are now open from May the 1st through to September the 30th.

And of course please do get in touch for any general bookings or if you have anything special in mind, we are more than happy to try to accommodate you with your requests.

A couple of weeks ago we had a very exciting delivery…..two hives and a LOT of Honey Bees! They are working on keeping themselves warm at the moment but we are looking forward to seeing more activity in Spring.

This is very new to us and under the guidance of Harriet, a close friend of ours, we are learning the ropes of Bee Keeping and can’t wait to share some honey with our future guests.
