Its the time of year when thoughts turn towards Christmas! We are pleased to announce the return of the popular All Saints Church Rayne Christmas Tree Festival. Although we have passed the longest day and are still waiting for summer, this means that there are only two public Rayne Heritage tours remaining! Why not join our knowledgeable guides on an enjoyable walk around the picturesque village of Rayne, and hear about some of its notable inhabitants? Each tour starts at 10:00 am and lasts around two hours, followed by refreshments at the Booking Hall Cafe. The remaining dates are Saturday 27 July and 17 August. Tickets are available via Eventbrite.

Rayne Heritage is delighted to announce the return of our Guided Tours around Rayne, Essex. Our small group tours focus on both the history of the village and the notable inhabitants. For example, Eliza Vaughan - who lived on The Street, was a local historian, Suffragist and Parish Clark. Dates for the public tours are on the Rayne Heritage website, and run from May to August.
