Changes to passport checks and border controls in Europe are expected in November 2024. Called the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), the new checks will mean travellers will have to give fingerprints and facial scans at the border.

The EU is planning to introduce its €7 EU visa waiver for British holidaymakers by next summer. I’ll keep you updated as the rules come into affect but you can read more about it here… ✈️ 🇪🇺

Travellers will have to pay €7 for a visa waiver every three years or until their passport expires.

I spent last week in the lovely Abu Dhabi visiting a friend. And it really became apparent that this is a great destination for a family looking for winter sun! I would say we had temperatures of 43C which was quite warm so would recommend it for stays October to May. There is so much to do - it would make for a fun filled week! From Warner Bros World, the Yas Water Park, Ferrari World, Sea World and the lovely beaches & malls there is something for everyone! There is also a Louvre Museum and soon to open Guggenheim musem.

6 nights at the WB Abu Dhabi on half board for a family of 4 starts at around £4,516 per family for certain departures in Septemer/October. Staying at the WB gives you access to one Ya theme park per day.

Also, some great offers to visit Abu Dhabi and attend the Grand Prix in early December.
