NEW ADDITION TO OUR TEAM 🚨

I am very proud to introduce the new member of the Trekking Tom Experiences team, Oli Blenkinsop - please give him a warm welcome! He is a qualified Mountain Leader, Mountain Bike Leader, first aid trained and has bags of experience.

It’s a privilege to have him on board, as someone who has a huge passion for the outdoors! Here’s what Oli has to say 👇🏼

IMPORTANT INFO - FIX THE FELLS! 🚨

The is taking part in in The Big Give Christmas Challenge that kicks off today! This is a partnership to help preserve the vital work needed on the Lake District paths!

Every donation to Fix the Fells will be matched by ‘Big Give Champions’ during the Big Give Christmas Challenge which will double the impact!

This critical week-long fundraiser is underway to maintain the much-loved footpath on England’s highest peak, Scafell Pike and surrounding fells - one of the most iconic places of the LD!

GUIDED HIKE - HELVELLYN SUNRISE 🚨

Unfortunately, no sunrise - BUT aside from the heavy rain & strong winds, we had a good laugh and made the most of it!

Anyone can go out in calm conditions, but it takes some real resilience to hike in true Lakeland conditions!

Well done Lesley and Neil, two regular clients who always bring so much positivity to our hikes! 😄

On our way down, the weather decided to clear up and offer us some lovely views!

Scafell Pike Sunrise & Great Gable guided Group Hikes ✨🌹

A weekend full of no sunrise and no views (and brutal weather obviously), but we can’t win them all! Well done to everyone who came on the hikes!

SP Sunrise:
Thank you to Luke for guiding the squad up, no sunrise but at least the conditions were rather calm 😅

Great Gable:
Every year I personally run a Great Gable group hike on Rememberence day, the weather might have been awful but it was a beautiful service. It is always very emotional and a very special moment, but fantastic to see so many people up there - albeit, extremely cold 🥶
