Fancy a festive break at Railway Cottage, Bellingham, in the heart of Northumberland? It is a brilliant time of the year to visit - the weather outside might be frightful, but the fire inside is so delightful! Pubs, restaurants, cafes and takeaways are all a short stroll from the front door, although you’d never believe it while you’re sitting inside in front of a roaring fire! Railway Cottage is perfectly positioned - set back far enough to be peaceful, but within walking distance of everything. Get in touch if you’d like to book!

Way back in springtime we welcomed Matt Baker and his truly lovely Ma & Pa to join us in the brewery to find out about our brewing adventures, foraging for gorseflowers in the beautiful landscape surrounding Bellingham, and then headed back home to sup tasty beers in the taproom.

Limited availability in October! Get in touch if you’d like to book. Bellingham is a brilliant place to stay - Kielder and The Observatory are only a short drive away. Pubs, restaurants, cafes, shops and takeaways are all within a stroll from the front door. Railway Cottage, though handy for all amenities, is the most quiet, tranquil and relaxing place to stay. You will leave with your batteries fully recharged - let me know if you’d like to stay!

After a very busy July, we do have limited availability left in August if you fancy a summer getaway. Our cottage is perfectly situated with shops, pubs and restaurants all just a sort stroll from the front door. If you’re a golf enthusiast, there is a magnificent 18 hole course just behind Railway Cottage for you to enjoy. Kielder is a 20 minute drive away and the walk to Hareshaw Linn is just around the corner from us. It’s a fabulous base from which to explore the Northumberland countryside. Only one weekend available now in June! Some week day availability, but not a lot! July and August are booking up quickly as well, so get in touch if you’d like to stay at our lovely cottage. It’s only a twenty minute drive to Kielder, Hareshaw Linn is five minute walk from our front door. Lots of pubs and restaurants are just a short stroll away. It’s a brilliant base to explore Northumberland!
