Accessibility Statement for ‘the loft’
Please find outlined below information to ensure that ‘the loft’ is suitable for your needs to enable you to have an enjoyable stay.
All reservations, enquiries and bookings can be made by email, phone or on-line using the visitisleofman.com accommodation area. Should you need larger font for postal correspondence, please ask.
On arrival at ‘the loft’ there is ample private parking adjacent to the front door, which is accessed on a level concrete path. The front door is 780mm wide with a 75mm step. It is normal practice to meet and greet our guests, we are more than happy to help you with your luggage.
Accommodation
All accommodation is on the upper floor which is accessed up a flight of 14 standard height/depth stairs with a handrail, all doors throughout the property are 670mm wide and have lever handles.
Kitchen/Diner and Lounge
The work tops are all at standard height, the sink has a lever tap. The dining table is 900mm high with 4 chairs which have a seat height of 630mm. The lounge area has a 2/3 seat sofa, low single chair and a remote for the TV/DVD which has the availability of subtitles.
Bedrooms
The double room has a 4ft 6inch bed, double wardrobe, no full length mirror.
The single room has a 3ft bed, double wardrobe with full length mirror.
Bathroom
Both bathrooms have level access, the showers are accessed over a 120mm step, and have rotary controls, there are no grab rails. The sink taps are lever operated, the floors are tiled.
Additional information
The property is carpeted throughout with the exception of tiled bathrooms and lino in the kitchen area.
Light switches are placed at a height of approximately 1200mm.
‘the loft’ has smoke alarms, an automatic sprinkler system and emergency lighting.
