Did you know that Mile End Park is situated on the site of old terraced streets? There are some fascinating maps and photos online. Here you can see the view towards the new(ish) Suttons Wharf development just over the railway line and canal, built on an old industrial site. Have you ever run the ? I've just spent the morning finalising the research for my upcoming history tour along the route of the Mile End Parkrun.
