Set in the beautiful village of Bassenthwaite, which has a village pub, The Sun Inn serving local traditional ales and a full food menu.

10 minute drive to Keswick and Cockermouth, also served by a local bus service

Local attractions include: The Lakes Distillery, Bassenthwaite Tea Rooms set in the former Railway Station where you can dine in a luxury railway carriage. Bassenthwaite Lake with sailing, fishing and watersports. The Lake District Wildlife Park, great for a day out with the children. Dodd Wood Osprey nesting site. Mirehouse & Gardens.
