We've had a lovely few days of warm, dry weather. Getting some kayaks ready for the current guests' paddle tomorrow.

Due to cancellations Grey Goose Cottage is available the 3rd to 10th June and the 1st to 8th July.

We will include free rental of a double sit on top kayak and a paddleboard for the week.

Lovely to see some signs of spring as we prepare the cottage and garden for this year's season. The cottage now has its own private path and gate down to the loch.

We've only seen otters on a handful of occasions, but we've recently had success with a track cam. This was placed down by the edge of Loch Erisort for a few weeks. Amazing creatures

On Loch Erisort. We think they travel back and forth daily to Loch Keose as they need to bath regularly in fresh water.

Grey Goose Cottage has a week available from the 13-20th August. We are offering the use of our kayaks for this week as part of your booking. The kayaks can be used on the loch at the bottom of the garden or you can venture further afield to explore other options on these beautiful islands.

I know it's a cliche but it does feel like we have four seasons in some days. Here's the view from the double room upstairs looking at the rain, the wind and the occasional burst of sunlight. Perhaps this why we get to see so many rainbows - but none captured this time sorry.
