Did you lose a camera memory card in Rousay? One was found in the car park for Midhowe broch and chambered cairn on Monday.

It’s apparently still in good condition. If you think it’s your memory card, call Brian on 07505 429327.

Remember to allow extra time to make it out to Tingwall when you visit us on Rousay.
The Finstown roadworks will be in place for 16 weeks.

Folks, we are reminding motorists of the potential for delays in the coming months as a major programme of works is now underway in Finstown (A965).

The necessary work has begun on the first section at the junction with the A966 Evie Road. This will be controlled by temporary traffic lights.

In all, the works, which are required to keep the roads maintained, are scheduled to take around 16 weeks.

Please drive carefully past our roadworkers.

Just another day at the office 😎🚁

I absolutely love it when a job means I have to visit any one of the isles 🙌
While I was over in Rousay this week I was able to get a tour of the island and photograph the surreal hillside road on the North coast.

Rousay is just a 25 min ferry from the Orkney mainland and has so much to offer! If you’re visiting Orkney this year, then a day trip over is a must! 🙌

We will keep updating this page with ongoing Trumland news and projects, and let you know of any changes.

" I’m currently working part-time with Shaw Marketing and Design, and the team are currently working with Pentland Ferries to produce a printed Orkney map for visitors this season. The map will be in a folded format and will include all the key visitor attractions on the Orkney mainland and surrounding islands. Each entry will have a locator, short description and small supporting image. Please note the produced map will be a saleable item on Pentland Ferries as well as being available online.

The map currently features the following sites in Rousay:
Midhowe Broch
Knowe of Yarso
Taversoe Tuick

The team are currently sourcing images at present, and I wondered if Visitrousay would be able to provide any of the above images for this project? All photography will be credited within the publication. Please let me know if this would be possible and if you have any questions please do get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Best wishes
