Please remember to buy your permits online well BEFORE you travel. This gives time for details to be downloaded to the wardens' daily listings of valid permits, eliminating the need to approach anglers to make checks.
Remember that phone signals can be very patchy around the Lochside. If you are fishing without a permit and have no phone signal, the wardens will ask you to move off site until you have bought one, which is inconvenient for all concerned.
