Our cosy Livingroom is a traditional space typical of an old country farmhouse. With a big open fire, beautiful original features and a stunning bay window.

Recently there was a little water damage in this room - as we’ve shared before that happens in an old property - but we were delighted to find Churlish green in the archive collection. This colour matched what had originally been on the walls when we acquired the property and suited the room so well. Now she’s had a fresh coat and she’s looking her best for our winter guests.

Who wouldn’t want to relax in this space with friends & family.

A cosy refresh of our downstairs family bathroom 🛁🧡

This ground floor bathroom had fallen victim to damage from a leak upstairs - being an old house we get issues like that a little more than we’d like. But she’s looking lovely a new thanks to an autumn refresh 🍁

This large bathroom with roll top bath offer guests a chance to take a long guilt free soak in a calm and cosy space. There’s no better feeling than an indulgent bath!

Kinburn Park & St Andrews Museum 🛝🍁🍂

This is a gem in the town of St Andrews and a big favourite of ours.

This beautiful park and green space is full of fun with lots of areas to explore and it’s looking stunning this autumn. There’s the actual play park and then an open green space and an area of trees. The children love it and the adults too.

There’s also the added bonus of for some delicious cake, coffee or brunch/lunch

The museum is a wonderful place to explore with changing exhibits. They have a fantastic space upstairs where you can colour and interact with activities connected to the exhibition.

There’s hours of fun to be had 🍁🛝🍰✏️🖍️🌲

Our wonderful house has now played host to many a wedding party! Providing a stunning setting for the bridal party to get ready for their big day or being the venue for very small intimate wedding.

Strathkinness village play park 🛝

Just a short drive from is the lovely little village of Strathkinness. Set on the top of the hill looking across to St.Andrews and down on the Eden Estuary.

The village park is a brilliant space with lots of equipment for all ages and abilities. There’s picnic tables and a football field. ⚽️

It’s the perfect place to let the children burn off some energy.

The Fife School holidays are over meaning the attractions at Craigtoun Country Park are closed through the week but that doesn’t stop this being a magical place to visit.

🚶🏼‍♀️🚶🏾‍♂️You can enjoy a lovely walk in these beautiful grounds.

🛝The play park is still open for all to enjoy.

🌳 There’s something special about the trees at Craigtoun and children just love climbing them.

☕️ The cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday 10 to 4 (though we recommend double checking their page before you go)

Making Easter Kincaple farmhouse feel like home.

We recently had an excuse to use for a family event and it was such a treat to be reminded just house special this house is and how beautiful she is, never more so when full of people having a good time.

To help celebrate our special occasion we added a little extra to the decor with a mix of garden greenery, fake & fresh flowers and some family photos. These small touches truly made the house a home.

Our guests are welcome to bring their own little touches to help add to their celebration and ensure their time is unique to them. 💐🪅🌷🎉🌺🎈🌹🎊

We have the pleasure of having St. Andrews Kitchen come cater a private party on Saturday night! The team were fab and the food delicious. Highly recommend and would encourage our guests who’re coming for a special occasion to think about booking with them. Easter Kincaple Farnhouse comes alive when filled with a party of people having a good time and when you are on holiday you don’t want to be cooking! St.Andrews and swimming in the sea! 🌊🏊‍♀️

If you enjoy a sea swim then St Andrews has more than one spot for you to explore. There’s a sea pool at the Castle Sands (picture 1) then there’s the East Sands (pictures 2&3) and the West Sands. All beautiful spots for a swim and they each give you different benefits pending on the conditions of the day.

Once you’ve taken a cold water hit you can enjoy a ‘shivery bite’ at one of the following:
