So better late than never,

Happy New Year everyone!

So with the New Year I decided to try something new out and see how easy it was to make an app!

Unfortunately I do not have enough coding knowledge to be able to create a app from scratch so I need a app builder program.

After doing some brief investigation I found jotform.com, through chance on Google, and saw it had some free options.

So, I thought I would give it a go. I found the program fairly easy to use and navigate and after about half an hour. I had this app feel free to scan the QR code and take a look.

The app only has reference to some of the Love Arran blog posts but it may be avenue we explore further into 2023.

It is unfortunate the free version of the program shows the jotform branding along the bottom. But you can’t have everything for free.

Obviously this is a work in progress and I think there are a lot of things I can improve it is not going to win any award by any means 😂 But I amazed you can use this program to produce a fully functioning app in no time. Certainly something to think about.

Does any body know of any truly free programs that can be used to make apps? Most of the ones I found try and tempt you into a subscription.

Well progress has been a lot slower than I had hoped partly because of a full time job, kids, life…. take your pick…

However, I am now feeling confident that we should be in a position to launch by the New Year.
