Set in tranquil, peaceful surroundings where you can relax and connect to nature but still be close to a wealth of places of interest and good restaurants. Our vision for Wild Goose Glamping was to give others the chance to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and glimpses of many types of wildlife which we enjoy seeing form our windows on a daily basis. We wanted to provide a
private, quiet getaway for visitors to unwind, recharge and connect to nature, which would be an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in the surrounding area. As suggested by the name, wild geese (both Greylag and Pinkfoot) can often be seen in large numbers very close to the pods from September to April. Roe deer, buzzards and foxes are just some of the other wildlife regularly seen. Beds consist of a double and a sofa bed. Bedding and towels are supplied and there is everything in the pod you could need for cooking and eating. Each pod has its own large enclosed decking, providing privacy and a windbreak. The decking has a table and chairs, and there's an additional picnic table on the grass in front of each pod. There's a barbecue for each pod with enough charcoal for your first BBQ. You'll also find a welcome pack in your pod with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. This location is ideal as a base for visiting Edinburgh, St Andrews, Stirling and the East Neuk of Fife, and would be an ideal stop off point before travelling further north in Scotland, for example to the NC 500 route. There is a wealth of activities close by to interest everyone. They include, walking, cycling, wildlife watching, archery, fishing, watersports, shooting, golfing, karting and horse riding. Scottish food and drink is available to sample and buy nearby. Alternatively, just spend time relaxing with a drink, enjoying the views and the peace and quiet.
