Set in tranquil, peaceful surroundings where you can relax and connect to nature but still be close to a wealth of places of interest and good restaurants. Our vision for Wild Goose Glamping was to give others the chance to enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and glimpses of many types of wildlife which we enjoy seeing on a daily basis. We wanted to provide a private, quiet ge
taway for visitors to unwind, recharge and connect to nature, one which would provide an ideal base for exploring the many attractions in the surrounding area. As suggested by the name, wild geese (both Greylag and Pinkfoot) can often be seen in large numbers very close to the pods from September to April. Roe deer, buzzards and foxes are just some of the other wildlife regularly seen. Bedding and towels are supplied along with everything you could need for cooking and eating in the pod. Each pod has a large enclosed decking area complete with table and chairs, and the grassed area in front of the pod boasts a barbecue with enough charcoal for your first BBQ. Inside the pod you'll find a welcome pack with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and a selection of breakfast cereals. Fresh milk is available on request. This location is ideal as a base for visiting Edinburgh, St Andrews, Stirling and the East Neuk of Fife, and would be an ideal stop off point before travelling further north in Scotland, for example to the NC 500 route. With a wealth of varied activities close by, there is something for everyone. You can enjoy; walking, cycling, wildlife watching, archery, fishing, watersports, shooting, golfing, karting, horse riding. Scottish food and drink is available to sample and buy nearby. Alternatively, as many of our visitors do, just spend time relaxing with a drink, enjoying the views and the peace and quiet.
