Woodhouse Lodge is all cosy - we are looking forward to autumn walks through the fallen leaves 🍁 and enjoying natures fabulous colour display!
Back to the Lodge to cosy up in front of the log burning stove.. with a little tipple maybe ?!

Sipping Cocktails on the veranda & watching the sun go down at Woodhouse Lodge.

Pooley Bridge has so much on offer..
take a trip on the Ullswater Steamers and explore different areas of Ullswater.
Walk the Ullswater Way.
Stop off Aira Force waterfall or hire paddle boards, do a bit of Wildswimming.
Use up some adrenaline with Ullswater Wake & Surf…
Or why not visit one of the pubs Pooley Bridge has to offer or Granny Dowbekin's Tearooms & Tea Garden
Or The Secret Garden….
or, you could spend time browsing the bookshelves of Verey Books..
Followed by fabulous fine dining at
1863 Restaurant with Rooms
That’s after you’ve walk the mountains of course to work up an appetite.
Also worth a visit not too far away is Lowther Castle & Askham Hall or Queen's Head Askham
