FREE Entry to your local attraction. The Papermaking Museum was set up in 2014 in part of Pen-y-Coe Press, to celebrate the ‘Papermaking Town’ history. Trustees had originally planned to house the Museum in Bank Mill, one of the original paper mills. Still, its present situation on the main street through Penicuik makes it more accessible to visitors. The Museum now occupies what used to be the garage of Pen-y-Coe Press, which is still home to the original Heidelberg letterpress machine, and a thriving stationery and printing shop. OPEN Times: Saturdays 1;00-3:30 p.m. Or by appointment for groups [email protected]
