A lovely couple of days of both blue and grey skies plus beautiful walks along the coast to Rame and up into Mount Edgcumbe too - it doesn’t get much better than this!

We had an AMAZING stay at the Fort! It is a truly magical place. Many property’s on Airbnb state they have a sea view but often when you arrive, it’s really a glimpse in the distance or the view is obstructed by roads, trees or other rooftops but not Tiffany’s place… the Fort has a REAL SEA VIEW!!’ You can literally touch the sea!!! The sound of the waves and complete views of the bay and out to sea, the rock pools, watching the boats and tides change. We loved the open plan living, bed on the platform so you can wake up to see the sea, the character, underground corridors to the car parking. I haven’t slept so well in months, we just didn’t want to leave…. We walked to Cawsand and Kingsand each day along the coastal path, swam in the sea and private harbour, it was so scenic. Such a peaceful location, no light pollution, no traffic, yet a stones throw from Plymouth. It’s a unique place and everyone living there was so friendly. Book it and you will just want to stay forever!!"

The weather forecast is improving over the next few days, so if you want to starting planning a break away by the Cornish coast, then why not consider staying in the historic Fort Picklecombe apartments.

We have fantastic sea and coastal views from our cosy studio apartment for 2 on the beautiful Rame Peninsula, tucked away on the S/East corner of Cornwall.

Only 1.5 miles from the old fishermans villages of Kingsand & Cawsand and on the edge of the glorious Mount Edgcumbe estate, we have lovely woodlands behind us and the tranquil waters of Plymouth Sound in front. 🌊 🌳
