Our Perfect Place
Imagine a warm breeze from the sea, close your eyes and you could be on the Mediterranean. Open them onto the unmistakeable hills of Snowdonia, rolling down to the dunes of Tywyn and Aberdovey. Surrounded by great Scot’s Pines in the dappled shade of morning, followed by full sun in the late afternoon. Then that sunset, as the sun disappears into the sea. All this and more can be viewed from the patio of Sea Moss Cabin from beneath the parasol. Even in the winter months the light streams in through wide windows, while gas central heating and double glazing keeps you warm and cosy. The newly decorated interior is retro-modern with a nautical feel. Open plan with a double bed that fits up into the wall when not in use, giving a surprisingly large amount of space inside. The flat screen TV/DVD provides your in-house entertainment with a wide range of free-view channels. The kitchen is well equipped with Gas hob and oven, microwave, toaster and fridge-freezer. Eating in (or out on the magnificent patio) is a real pleasure and simplicity itself, giving you more time to relax and enjoy yourself. Local places of interest include the Talyllyn Railway, the oldest restored narrow gauge railway in Britain. The mosses and ferns of Dolgoch Falls that drip with every shade of green. Talyllyn Lake with it’s impossible reflections, just like you are floating in the sky. Castell-y-Bere, the old ruined Castle of Prince Llewellyn, whose 360 degree views and Harry Potter-esque mystique have a unique charm. You will honestly see nothing else like it in the world. And the mighty Cadair Idris, which at nearly 3,000 feet is the highest peak in Southern Snowdonia and is of course very popular with walkers.
