An efficient communication before going on how to get there and getting the keys. The perfect location to explore Gower Peninsula. You can feel that the proprietor took care in welcoming its guests. A lovely sent of freshness when you come in, with the little details which make all the difference; Beds made up, you don't need to bring anything for the kitchen, all there down to the washing up liquid and towels. The bathroom was very clean. The bedrooms are of a good size and the beds are very comfortable. A good size living area with two sofas. Thumbs up. You have a car space, and the village shop is conveniently situated. The owner even made sure we had our sunny days... what else do you need more.

Comfortable, clean, had everything needed. Good central location for Gower.

Great place.

Lovely chalet, exactly as described, clean and tidy with some thoughtful little personal touches - the Bara Brith left for us was delicious! The pool was also great, really warm and never busy and the location was perfect for trips out with a well-stocked on site shop.

It has been great to have you stay. Thank you for your lovely reviews. They are appreciated more than you know. Work is starting on further improvements to the pet friendly Twisted Willow, the three-bedroom woodland lodge. Maintenance on Caban Bach (Little Cabin), Cân Yr Adar (Birdsong) and Awel Y Môr (Sea Breeze) in Gower, is also underway. So, I hope 2024 brings happiness, and once again ‘thank you’.

"This was a truly wonderful break& #33; We loved the accommodation and the setting. It felt like a well-being retreat surrounded by trees and leaves. We used the outdoor pool everyday and visited lots of great places nearby. The soft furnishings made the cabin really cosy. We definitely hope to return next year. "

The Twisted Willow is now added to our offer for short breaks and holidays in Cenarth West Wales. Formerly known as Nuthatch Lodge- it is re-named after the Twisted Willow tree outside the front door.

This is my description of this most peaceful of settings:
‘It’s so peaceful!’
The lodge is surrounded by trees and woodland- that’s what you see from every window. You’ll hear the birds and the rustling leaves. There’s plenty of space inside. Refurbished for this season with a wood burner for chilly nights, and large comfy sofas so you can put your feet up. The living area is light and airy with large windows and skylights. It includes a large lounge, dining area and kitchenette Outside there’s space to relax in the sun or take a stroll over to the communal pool.
You’re a short drive from fabulous beaches, glorious woodlands, and quirky towns with great cafes and lots of independent shops.
The Twisted Willow is a wooden lodge in a quiet spot surrounded by trees and wildlife. Park your car right outside. The living area is light and airy with large windows and skylights. It includes a large lounge, dining area and kitchenette. Two double bedrooms and one single, with a modern WC and shower room. Linen and towels supplied free of charge.
