Currently beavering away on some hedge restoration, coppicing all the well over grown sycamore.
Drastic in appearance it will rejuvenate this hedgerow and also gives the other tree species a chance to grow bringing variety and balance once again.

Btw we're opening up this field for a wild camping experience this year..

The Heroes Of Telemark ≣ 1965 ≣ Trailer

So Kirk has died, a long life and I’ve watched many of his films.

In a bizarre piece of timing I’m off in 4 weeks to ski part of the route the Operation Grouse saboteurs took on the Hardangervidda plateau in Norway, it will be exactly a year when my dad died, he always wanted to go to Norway, we both liked the Heroes of Telemark film and dad had given me the Ray Mears book.

There’s been a few other changes for Adventure Wales we have outdoor classrooms and other wonderful experience spaces but I’ll show you when I get back from Norway!

For now I leave you with the Trailer for Kirk Douglas’ film The Heroes of Telemark

“Stuck on a wall in the middle of a storm, finally it’s time to jam and make some popcorn, I really can’t remember when I last took a wash, but with this ninja hoody and chest zipper I feel so posh.” - Sean Villanueva O’Driscoll and Nico Favresse singing a song we all know.

Me and my Dad, good friends and full of love for each other.
Unfortunately Dad died within hours of this photo at around 2 am Thursday 7th of March aged 75, I was there and we held each other’s hands. He died knowing I love him dearly.
After all said and done I shall be cycling his remains to his favourite mountains, a act that we both thought would help me come to terms with his passing, and joined by family scatter them to the winds.
Care and Love

We reached out to Skanda Vale Hospice for help and support, they continue their help after Dad’s passing.
