We have just added another cottage to our range of Brewery Cottages.

Bridge House Riverside Lodge - is down a quiet lane next to the river Steeping. This recently refurbished cottage is a great house with a large garden to relax in away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Only a short walk in to Wainfleet, five miles from Skegness and a lovely drive in to the Lincolnshire Wolds. It could not be better situated.

One of our lovely cottages is situated near the heart and soul of the amazing coastal village, Ingoldmells.

Ingoldmells is known as a resort in the East Lindsay District of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the A52 and 3 miles north from the popular town of Skegness.

The popular seaside village attracts thousands of visitors each year. There are many attractions in Ingoldmells for you to enjoy such as:

Just down the road from Merrilodge are the Coopers and Brewers Riverside Cottages.

These cottages were the homes of generations of Batemans brewers, coopers, boilermen and draymen who liked to live locally to the Brewery, so they could get in early for work.

Refurbished to a high standard these holiday cottages are ideal for a family getaway especially being only five miles from the seaside resort of Skegness, also within easy driving distance of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds and other attractions the county has to offer.

The cottages are in front of Batemans Brewery and situated in the garden of the Brewery Windmill

Merrilodge, Wainfleet

This beautiful family holiday home is situated next to the Brewery in Wainfleet, only 5 miles from the coast and within easy reach to all that Lincolnshire has to offer.

This family home was purchased by Harry Bateman, 2nd generation of Batemans Brewery, when his son George (Mr George) married Pat, who named the house Merrilodge as a ‘merry’ home and that is what it is. It was Pat and George’s family home for many years and where they brought up their two children Jaclyn and Stuart. It then became the brewer’s house until recently turning it in to a family holiday home.

This spacious home sleeps up to 16 people with plenty of room downstairs for guests to get together. There is a large garden with an entertaining area to the side, perfect for alfresco dining and a heated swimming pool open during the summer months.

Merrilodge has recently been refurbished and is a great place to stay to enjoy a few days away from everyday life.
