We have some late availability for 4 to 6 people to share our largest gite.

Here is the opportunity to enjoy a weekend of fabulous food and wine in beautiful South West France where you can relax and savour the cooking of our UK Masterchef finalist.

Along with delicious home cooked meals and a variety of local wines, trips out, cooking demonstrations and time to relax, the weekend will give you the opportunity to learn something new or revitalise your interest in cooking. The focus will be on using seasonal local and regional ingredients.

£395 per person all-inclusive, so all meals, drinks, four night’s accommodation and trips out are included.

Accommodation
Farm Gite (3 doubles, 1 twin, 2 bathrooms) £395 per person based on 4-6 people sharing. We are thirty minutes from Bergerac airport and one and a half hours from Bordeaux airport.

The gite has a sitting and dining area, kitchen, two bathrooms with toilet and shower plus private and shared outside space. Hairdryers, bath towels and pool towels are provided.

During the weekend guests have full exclusive use of the gardens and grounds and the two swimming pools.

All gites are equipped with tea, coffee, sugar and milk plus a welcome basket.

It's been a busy Summer and reviews like this make it all worthwhile. Thank you Jenny and Louise.

We hired all of the Gites at Domaine de Beausoleil for our group of 18 friends during the first week of August 2022, ranging in age from 15 to 50+. We had the most fantastic holiday together. We travelled from all across the UK and found it very easy to access flying from Belfast, Luton, Gatwick, Manchester. Some travelled by train to Bordeaux & one of our families actually drove down to Lauzun from the north of England! Car hire at Bordeaux airport was seamless & we then had additional transport to enjoy the sites local to Lauzun.
The facilities are first class.. all Gites were equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay... including pool towels! Rooms were clean & beds fresh and inviting. Kitchens were well-equipped and provided the option of preparing food on-site if required! We got the sense of a well-maintained, traditional, historic and much loved family complex that is steeped in local tradition. This included the Sat night food & entertainment market in nearby Lauzun... we enjoyed the buzz of the music and chatter as everyone filled their plates from various food stalls along the Main Street. It was a fantastic treat on our first evening!
We used the barbecue at the Gites a few evenings and enjoyed the beautiful fresh meats, fruits & veg from local markets & supermarkets nearby. Everything was so reasonable to buy & we ate like royalty!
The central courtyard area allowed a meeting point for all the Gites, even though each had its own private outdoor seated area too. We gathered each evening in the courtyard and ate together and enjoyed the craic of old friends catching up!
The two swimming pools were the focal point of our holiday... such fun was had by all, young & old! The pool areas were beautifully maintained by Daren... nothing was too much trouble for both Daren & Joy, our very lovely hosts. The pools made the holiday so enjoyable as the Temp was hot, however, very bearable by dipping in and out of the cool water.
There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their time away. The grounds & gardens of the property are quite extensive & we enjoyed walks to take in the beautiful views & to visit the animals nearby... we even named the horse “Muriel”, she enjoyed plenty of attention (and apples).
One special evening Joy cook a sumptuous meal to help celebrate a special event & this was an amazing experience. The table was laid outside in the garden. The wine & bubbles were flowing. The food was just exquisite. If you are staying at Domaine de Beausoleil you MUST sample Joy’s 5* dining experience.
We highly recommend the whole Domaine de Beausoleil experience. Whether as a large single group of family & friends like ours, or for smaller individual groups, the complex offers so many opportunities to enjoy a relaxing break away.
Our holiday was made memorable by the wonderful facilities, the fun & friendships, the amazing food and our hosts, Daren & Joy, who became friends as our week progressed!
