Most people are processing some kind of pain we don't know about.
Please be gentle.
They need to see Jesus in us. They need to know that there are still good people in the world.
We can choose to let compassion rise, grace soften and love lead.
If you have been in a wilderness season and if you have felt the desert sand beneath your feet and have questioned its meaning, this is for you! So many think the wilderness is unfruitful but what if it’s actually the opposite?
In the dry and weary places where you felt the most unseen and unwanted, God was drawing you deeper into Himself. He was tearing away every dependence for applause, every flicker of pride, and every thirst you had for lifeless idols and other loves. He was establishing in you the desire for only Him.
This is where the desert became your friend because it brought you closer to Him in more ways than you can possibly imagine.
He didn’t take you through the wilderness to abort the calling on your life or suffocate its existence; the resistance within your wilderness was to strengthen you for the coming birth of promise. You were being prepared for the birthing of what you prayed for.
And He isn’t done yet...
"Heads up: This is more a season of REFILLING than pouring out. It is a season of getting more oil not giving it all away. The enemy would love to deplete you right now when God is trying to REPLENISH YOU, body, mind and spirit. Don't fall into the trap of giving everything away when God is renovating you and refitting you for the years to come. He is pouring His strength into feeble knees right now, breaking weariness and, flushing out burnout. Don't be scattered in a time where God is putting you back together and don't cast your peals before they have formed. Live from the secret place and only pour when you are in overflow..."
I am in total agreement with this word from Nate Johnston in this season and I am so thankful for His prophetic ministry. He always seems to have have his finger on the pulse of the Spirit.
Give me the heavy weight of the burden of fear you are carrying. There may be uncertainty in your life, but I see everything clearly. There are no mysteries to me, and I won’t let the tides of confusion sweep you away. See how my hand holds you steady. You cannot escape the grip of my glorious grace, child. What wondrous plans I have for you. What a future you have in me. Let me guide you further into my goodness as you follow my leading. I promise never to let you go or get too far ahead. Just try and do this one step at a time. We often get tired of a season and try and prematurely jump into the next, unprepared. This time is an important developmental stage that you can't miss. You are tired, so rest, and even though this is uncomfortable don't skip it.
Some of you have spent the last several months asking God when and why. I know that you believed in your heart that things would be different by now. I pray that this month is a month of healing, suddenly, and restoration to all that you have been through these past few months. Amen.
It’s important to remember that God’s plans for us are always greater and more beautiful than any disappointments we face. Life can be full of challenges and moments when things don’t go as we hoped. But trust that God’s plans are filled with purpose and love. He sees the bigger picture and knows what’s best for us.
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." Even when things seem difficult, God is working behind the scenes to bring about good outcomes for those who trust in Him. So, when you face setbacks, hold onto the belief that God’s plans are unfolding in ways that will bring you greater joy and fulfilment.

Your faith is often influenced by what you see through the foggy lens of doubt. Your perception is blurred by the boundaries of what you think is possible. But I live far above the realm of natural possibility, and I invite you to join me here.

Instead of trying to control things beyond my control, I want to choose to surrender them today to God. And then surrender again tomorrow. And the next day too. Refusing to control is an act of building more and more trust in God.
Each time I have doubts and fears about God’s goodness, I will bring these to God and let His Truth refute them. My job is daily obedience to God. His job is holding and handling my future.
Today, let’s remember this truth: Trusting God means holding loosely the parts of my life I want to hold most tightly. Is it easy? No. But is it the pathway to the peace I long for? Yes, it is.

The fear of the Lord is not being afraid of God; it is being afraid to do anything on my own without God.
The fear of the Lord has literally saved my life, more than once.
The fear of God has kept me in seasons of pressure that I wanted to escape.
I'm thankful for this because in time I've seen that the very thing I was trying to get out of was the very thing God used to bring me into greater freedom and growth.
I remember getting an opportunity to leave out of a difficult season. I was done, I felt like I simply couldn't go on. But before I could answer ''yes!", there was that invisible stronghold of the fear of God within my spirit whereby I knew I simply could not take the invitation/opportunity.
The fear of the Lord saved me for greater things. Shortly after this, revival and miracles broke out in abundance!
"The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever". Psalm 19:9
There is no impure or selfish motive inside the fear of the Lord; it is pure. It is clean.
God is jealous for you for unselfish purposes. He wants the best for you even when you don't.
The fear of God is a necessary posture for wise living. I am not wise in and of myself. I don't know how to lead my own life. The Father does. The fear of God keeps me anchored to His will in times where I would rather take the easy path.

For the healing hearts. I know this may seem like the hardest thing to believe right now, but your heart won’t feel this heavy forever and someday soon this pain won’t feel so overbearing. But just for now, take a deep breath and feel everything you are feeling. Open your arms and carry yourself with care.

God knows all about this situation...
He hasn't forgotten. He's right alongside you. He's working in the bigger picture and weaving together a beautiful story out of all the tangled pieces and lose ends. He is the master weaver, the beautiful creator.
You can't continually carry the weight of this because it is too heavy and you will bend under the pressure. Did you know His burden is easy and light? Go continually into His presence and take part in this great exchange, peace for chaos and abundant grace to carry you through.

As you wait on answers to your prayers or even hope for a miracle, remember God is working on your behalf. God doesn't just hear but acts. He doesn't just see, He rescues. God hasn't forgotten about you. Even when it seems like nothing is happening, He is always at work.
When you spend too long in transition, you can begin to feel like nothing is ever going to change. This is just how life is going to be from now on.
Always remember, God is bringing you THROUGH something to bring you TO something.
Don’t lose sight of the big picture.
The wilderness is not your home.
This is not your new normal.
One day, you will look back and thank God for everything He did to prepare you for what you’re about to step into.
Without THIS - you would never be ready for THAT.

This reassurance from God reminds us that no matter what difficulties we face, He is with us, guiding and protecting us. Whether we encounter overwhelming challenges or fiery trials, we can trust that God’s presence is constant and His power is sufficient. Just as He was with the Israelites, He is with us today, offering comfort, strength, and salvation. This profound promise encourages us to face life’s obstacles with faith, knowing that we are never alone.

No matter what you are facing, God is with you. He promises to never leave you nor forsake you. Even when you don't feel His presence, don't panic. Remember, feelings aren't facts. Just because God seems silent, it doesn't mean He's absent.
Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
If you are hurting, cry out to Him. If you are overcome with anxiety, ask Him to be your peace. If you feel alone, open His Word and let His truth comfort you. When you draw near to God, He will draw near to you. Trust in His divine restoration.
