You Could Travel The Japan Travel Club. We Craft Authentic Japan Tours. Our site and tours offer more than just the usual travel guides.

We're Cory and Greg, the minds behind You Could Travel, a website dedicated to sharing our personal adventures in Japan. We started this journey because of our love for Japan and our desire to offer something more than just the usual travel guides. Through The Japan Travel Club, we put together authentic tours that dive deep into the real Japan, far beyond the typical tourist spots. Our goal is to

help others experience Japan the way we have, with all its hidden gems and cultural wonders. We're all about exploring off the beaten path and sharing those unique experiences with fellow Japan enthusiasts.

The Naminoue Shrine is a Shinto shrine located in Okinawa. Its name, Naminoue, literally means "above the waves," which is a fitting description given its picturesque location atop a high bluff overlooking the beach and the sea. This shrine holds significant historical and cultural importance in Okinawa and is dedicated to three marine deities, which is reflective of Okinawa's strong ties to the sea.

It's one of my favourite places in Okinawa. I honestly expected it to be super busy but it was very chilled and relaxed. There is a catch though. Taking this picture can only be done from a not so serene spot, full of cars in the background.
But I thought it's well worth the extra 40 min detour to bring you a bit of zen to your Monday. Anyway, time to sleep as it's almost midnight in Japan. Sending you love.
