Our fun Bug and Butterfly Quest returns with lots of new questions for this May Half Term from 28th May to 5th June. A fun way to explore the amazing world of insect life. Search out the questions around the Park to learn about colourful butterflies, barmy bugs and creepy insects. Answer all the questions and claim your special reward.
Penguin feeding time and talk. 10:45am and 2:30pm. Our Keeper talk all about Humboldt’s Penguins is every morning and afternoon at their pool in the walled garden.
‘Flight of the Rainbows’ at 1:45pm where you can buy some nectar (£1.25) and feed the little parrots and get an amazing close-up experience in the walk-through ‘Australian Aviaries’ in the walled garden.
Free flying Scarlet Macaws. The colourful and noisy flock of parrots will fly free out of their aviary at around 10:30am every day (weather permitting) and will be at liberty for a few hours during the day – listen for their call bell.
At 11:45am see the ‘Eagles of Paradise Display. Watch birds of prey including eagles, owls, and a vulture fly free near the Fun Farm.
‘The Free Flying Bird Show‘ is at 3pm, where our presenters will tell you about the amazing birds at the Park with birds flying free from the stage and across the lawn.
We have 150 little bags of ‘Goat and Sheep Food’ for the Fun Farm, which are 50p and available on entry.
On good weather days Zebedee, the Jungle Express Train, will be out for a spin! You board the train near the picnic lawn and set off through the gardens of Glanmor House. It is just a small route of two circuits around the house grounds (not the whole Park) including the top section of Parrot Jungle, a trip through a tunnel leading to behind the scenes around the back of the house. For train times please check when you arrive. There is a small charge of £1 per person.
Fabulous JungelBarn play with giant slides and massive multi-level soft play area for a good scramble around. Try the Spinning Steps, Spinning Discs, Astra Slide, the Big Blue, Drop and Double Drop slides, Ladders, climb ropes, Squeeze rollers and Roller Poles, X Changer, Fireman’s Pole, Corner Climber, Tube slide, Swing over nets and more! Our smallest visitors can have a good romp in safety in the special toddlers’ area.
