A short drive away and dog friendly!

Cei Bach is about a mile and a half to the west of New Quay and around five miles from Aberaeron Harbour. The beach is sheltered and generally quiet, and you can enjoy the views over the sea and out to the Cardigan Bay. Many visitors come here for the sunsets which are said to be spectacular and if you like wildlife then you won’t be disappointed here.

Red kites are often sighted in the area and in Cardigan Bay you may even see a pod of dolphins or some seals swimming past. The beach is close to a heritage coastal path and you can walk all the way to Aberaeron where you can take in the vistas over the waterfall footbridge.

When the tide is low you can walk all the way to New Quay Harbour which takes around 20 minutes. The pretty village here has lots of amenities such as bars, restaurants, and cafes. You can also take a boat trip from here which will take you out to look for seals and dolphins.

Cei Bach also has literary connections as the poet Dylan Thomas used to regularly holiday in New Quay. There is a trail dedicated to his life which will take you around the area.

9 bedroom, 8 bathrooms, 2 kitchens multigenerational house so yes even children very welcome!!
It’s not going to affect our current arrangements with the other 3 cottages

Xmas available in Dairy and Stables,, beautiful cottages, log burners, hot tubs, dog friendly but can’t guarantee broadband so if that doesn’t bother you ( we have 4g) problem after the storm so only want private bookings that won’t be upset if no WiFi,, every chance it will be fine but I’d rather have empty beds than unhappy guests,, digital detox is a thing apparently anyway!

The Stables cottage not only has a gorgeous hot tub it also has this bath in the superking beamed bedroom as well as an en suite with shower too….

We have a completely secure off lead play paddock for our visiting dogs and it now has flood lights as well as a poo bin, water and a bench…so accessible during these dark nights
