Guest experiences are high on our list of priorities, so we like to make sure our guests know where they’re going ( though getting lost a little bit is sometimes when you find the coolest places) …

We have a pre arrival map , either for the ‘designated navigator ‘ or for the kids to follow and be back seat drivers this comes as part of your pre arrival info-email when you book direct.

Once here we also have a map of the farm to enable everyone to get out and enjoy the views and wildlife here on our ‘65 acres of relaxation ‘ with options for the less nimble on their pins 🤗

Lovely farm tour yesterday with our friends from DGvoice ..

Why not call up and see us , remember we have a free self guided walking tour around the farm taking in lots of beautiful views , and lots of wildlife to spot if you’re quiet 🤫

But if you talk to us nicely we might just walk you round with a few pig scratches and lamb cuddles thrown in x

The bees are having a strange summer but are enjoying our diverse flora across Grobdale 🐝

Honey production is massively underway , summer honey is away to be jarred up over at Quaterlands just over the hill from us by Gary our beekeeper ( my keeping days are over and Gary is so much better without me bumbling along behind him … scuze the pun ) and separation is in the hives, to keep the heather honey away from new bee making brood boxes .

Both hives have had new queens this year as they headed out this spring rather grumpy and so needed new breeding stock and hive 1 is still needing a bit of help from an experienced bee keeper to get them set up for autumn … yep you guessed it cue gary again x

The Cairndale Hotel & Spa certainly delivered a perfect spa experience today. We enjoyed lots of pool and steam/ sauna time , then an amazing Hamam treatment tailored and delivered perfectly by Katie and Chloe . A delicious afternoon tea was wonderfully presented with 20 types of tea to choose from 🫖

The whole day was wonderful without a single thing to find fault with … well done team Cairndale Hotel And Spa
