This building (on the corner of Park Street and the Long Walk) has witnessed many important Windsor events over the years. Oh if it could talk and tell us all about it! Is Garter Day today and the great ceremonial Royal Standard is up! It is a truly enormous flag, almost the size of a badminton court, and is only flown on very special occasions.

Finally it’s possible to get out and about on the river again! It was buzzing with life at the weekend with the rental boats from and the boat tours with and all busy on the water.

Rain, rain go away! By Sunday the weather should have perked up hopefully! With the amount of rain falling that could mean you’ll need to take a detour down by the river when doing our Windsor Walking Tour.

If you do need to take a detour, just check on the map if you will miss out any audio stops. You can then scroll to that / those stops in the app and press play to listen to them from a different spot - as if you don’t walk past the ‘marker’ the audio won’t be triggered by your location. 📱🎧 🗺️

The Long Walk - perfect for a stroll, day or night! Dawn or dusk gives it a magical touch with the silver band of the road it self seemingly lit up to guide the way.

Windsor’s best alleyway?

In Windsor it’s never far to the Castle and it’s never far to a park…

This was an eerily empty Oxford Street exactly a year ago. Hopefully it will be much livelier again in the next few weeks! We might just have some Oxford Street related news coming after the Easter holidays...
