Hello, thanks for visiting our page. From April 2017 we'll now be known as "Guided Walks In Wiltshire" instead of "Walking Holidays In Wiltshire". As before, we'll be taking solo walkers or small groups (maximum of 4 people) on a wide variety of walks around this very special part of southern England. We've got lots of suggested routes and days out for you to choose from, most of which can be shor

Our renamed website's registration is pending for a few days, so meanwhile if you have any enquiries please send them to our temporary email address: [email protected]. Also in the coming days we'll be adding a new "Walk of the Week" feature here on our new page. Do drop by again soon and enjoy our blogs from our walks. See you again, Chris

January 13-20: very unusually while doing a reconnaissance of new routes in Mid Wiltshire this week I have chanced upon a fleeing roe deer, a startled little bullock having a nap on the footpath, spotted a fleet-footed young wild boar and come face to face with an alpaca! Not to mention a full-sized model elephant and giraffe too. It's been quite a week! Treat yourself to a great walk with us ....

January 6 - 10 2019, a different walk each day, all within a few miles of Stonehenge and mostly in designated Areas Of Outstanding Beauty. A really lovely walk today leading a group of 8 walkers arranged through Solos Holidays. Starting from Upper Woodford, up onto the Plain, up towards Stonehenge and then down the secret valley to the Avon. A warm welĉome at our lunch stop at the charming Black Horse pub at Great Durnford, then an airy stretch to Amesbury. 10 miles done and dusty. And in the morning we reconvene for a splendid walk up Watership Down. What's not to love? ❤
