Every year between 3,000 and 4,000 motorbikes gather in Aviemore on the last weekend in August for the largest gathering of Harley Davidsons anywhere in Europe. This is a three day festival with people coming from all over the world to attend.

Each year, there’s a mass ride out of bikes which passes through the village and right past Bothan Beag. This was the scene today…

I’ve just discovered that I’d accidentally block booked the cottage so anyone looking to book would find it unavailable 🙈

This has been corrected so other than a minimum three night stay restriction, it should be available to book again! We have good availability for the cottage throughout the summer including the next few weeks and beyond.

Thank you to everyone that has liked this page over the past year or so. We are pretty full with bookings but a stay in August has just become available. One of our repeat guests from the Netherlands is unable to travel due to restrictions on both sides of the channel :-(

So we can now offer Friday the 13th of August to the Sunday the 22nd of August if you'd like a longer stay or as a minimum, Friday the 13th to Friday the 20th.

If you wish to take advantage of this, send me a PM. Strictly first come first served and if there are no takers within 24 hours, it'll go on offer through other channels.

After a very long four months it’s been confirmed that we can reopen our cottage from next Monday.

To celebrate we’re offering a four night stay for the price of three arriving on Monday the 26th of April and departing on Friday the 30th. This is only available for stays booked directly with us.

Usual price £400, offer price £300. Please contact us with any further questions or to make a booking.

We're excited that we're going to be able to open our lovely cottage in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park from the end of this month and have good availability over the coming months. In general we require a 7 night booking through the summer months with check-in on Friday after 16:00.

However as a result of the lockdown, we have a small number of shorter winter bookings from earlier this year that have been carried over to the summer. You may therefore notice some odd weeks where a full week is not bookable; e.g. 3rd - 7th May or check in is only possible on a different day of the week (in this instance Monday). Please do contact us if you wish to book these shorter stays.

Please note deposits are fully refundable if COVID-19 restrictions prevent travel, or you can move your dates to later in the year. We look forward to seeing you soon!
