So the new season has started and our first lovely guests are enjoying a well earned break.

BIG NEWS FOR THE WAFFLE INN FAMILY

Our first official franchise has taken place at our flagship store Waffle Away in Exmouth. This store was the first member of the waffle family and the first to be franchised.

We wanted a family that would look after Waffle Away and take care of the art of making waffles just as we would, Emma and James are just that, a local family, with 6 children, (enough to run the store free of charge!)

This franchise came about pretty organically, Emma came in as part of the team, and quickly ended up running the store, they’re so passionate about customer service, and are involved in every part of Waffle away, James works in delivery, Emma in management, and their eldest as front of house.

So, this is our official welcome to the family, we can’t wait to see what's in store, and in the words of Greg Wallace, this is waffly exciting.

Well, the sun is out and it’s absolutely gorgeous! ☀️🏖🍦The bar on the beach is open and this years new attraction, The Jump, looks like like it will be ready in just a few days 😀 Ive not spotted the Costa Tuk Tuk around the park yet though!
I still have a few dates left for this year, and bookings are coming in for next year too. Here’s this years remaining availability if you’re thinking of a break at Devon Cliffs in our gorgeous van with those lovely seaviews.

Wow, definitely worth a visit!

The main vault inside Exeter Cathedral is the longest continuous medieval vault in the world.

It also crowns one of the most beautiful medieval interiors in Europe.

It’s so lovely turning up at DC for a holiday to be greeted by this site

TEAM APPRECIATION POST 👏

Whilst covering lunches on the Security Gatehouse during check-in today, I couldn’t help but stop and admire everything this gentleman does to keep the entrance to the park looking absolutely immaculate! 🤩

Gary really is an asset to the park and we are so lucky to have him as part of the DC team! 🤝

Having spoke to a lot of the owner community on park, I know how much you appreciate the hard work that Gary and all of the grounds team on park do 😁
