Clwt Bedw is a traditional whitewashed, Welsh stone cottage full of character in its own enclosed grounds above the Conwy Valley over looking Snowdonia National Park and Carneddau mountains, between Llanrwst and Eglwysbach. It is quirky and very olde worlde with uneven walls and floors and exposed natural stonework. It has excellent woodland walking from the door and is ideally placed for visiting the North Wales coast, mountain walking in Snowdonia and castle site seeing! It is a secluded, remote getaway, that will have you feeling calm and tranquil in no time! It is accessed by a single track country lane that is steep at times...be prepared :-)! Betws Y Coed is 8 miles away. http://www.betws-y-coed.co.uk/feature_pages/index.html and Conwy a World Heritage site is less than 15 minutes drive away. The local 'Bee' pub in Eglwysbach is 2 miles away. A lovely friendly pub selling guest beers and delicious food. The enclosed half acre grounds include a wild area for birds, badgers and bunnies and a grassed paddock that is ideal for doggie friend run arounds and kiddies ball games. Accommodation & facilities
Two bedrooms sleeping 5 (2 x double brass beds, 1 x small single), . accessed by a steep open plan stair (not suitable very young, very old or immobile;humans and dogs! - see picture in gallery). New Restopeaedic mattresses ensure a heavenly comfortable sleep. Ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and bidet. kitchen/diner and lovely cosy, traditional beamed sitting room with an inglenook open fire place. Logs supplied. Please bring your own kindling and firelighters. Equipped with washing \ dryer machine, freezer, fridge, electric cooker, microwave, Freeview TV, DVD, (selection of DVDs), selection of books board games, night storage heaters and convector heaters. DVD player in second bedroom. Free, unlimited WiFi available although speeds are slow due to remote location and can sometimes be unreliable. Pillows and duvets provided of course but if you would like us to provide bed linen there is a £5 per person charge for this. Please bring your own towels. Built in BBQ in the garden. There is parking for two vehicles next to the cottage through a narrow driveway. Not suitable for large vans etc. Electricity: This is charged extra by meter reading but absolutely as per usage at online cost price ( I change contract to ensure the cheapest unit price) and on average is about £5 - £12 per day depending on winter, summer and of course how much you use!!!!! This 'pay as you use' we find the fairest way to charge now that electricity prices have rocketed! PET �accepted strictly by arrangement only and with conditions.
