This week, we are thinking of the men who landed in Normandy 80 years ago. Members of "E" Company of the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, part of the American 101st Airborne Division, were the subject of the popular TV series "Band of Brothers". It is easy to forget, when watching that dramatic series, that these were real men risking their lives to liberate Europe. This memorial lists the names of those who did not survive that first day of the invasion.
