MOROCCO 🇲🇦 EARTHQUAKE - Sending all my thoughts and prayers to the people of Morocco and especially those in the Atlas Mountains. Some of whom I was lucky enough to meet last year on a community day with painting a local community centre.
STUNNING SIARGAO - Before I arrived I was told this small palm filled island feels like Bali 40 years ago and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Relaxed vibes, great waves for surfing, clear water, a selection of great independent shops & restaurants plus underdeveloped but in a good way. Perhaps most importantly a handful of boutique luxury properties which have been few and far between here. I stayed for 3 days but wish I’d stayed for longer. P.S - apologies for the influencer style photo - my tour guide made me!
INSPIRED BY ITALY - Excited to be headed to in Florence on Monday to meet some of Italy’s best hotels. Currently busy planning some amazing trips to Italy for clients over the next few months… A few pictures from a magical trip to Tuscany in July 2020.

IN AWE OF ANTARCTICA- My love of travel means I’ve been lucky enough to explore and experience many corners of our beautiful planet but nothing quite prepared me for the magic of Antarctica. Untouched, raw, vast and beautiful beyond words. Already it almost feels like a dream. At times it felt like discovered a new world and a experience that truly touches your soul and allows you to disconnect from the world. Antarctica - it’s been emotional! Thank you again David, Sarah and the whole Quark team.
MARVELLOUS MORENA - Getting used to the ice before Antarctica 🇦🇶 visiting the stunning Perito Morena Glacier which is the star of the show for most in El Calafate. I saw it from walkways, boat and some mini-trekking. Stunning from every angle.
JOURNEY INTO THE WILD - When the transfer to the hotel looks like this… you know you must be going somewhere very special and remote. Hello
LAS BALSAS - Beautifully small and friendly is on the shores of Nahuel Huapi Lake and National Park with the Andes, lakes and forests all nearby to explore or just sit and stare at the view.
2022 - The year when was certainly true for Blue Moon Escapes - adventures from Costa Rica, USA and Bahamas to Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania as well as travels closer to home in Greece and France. All while creating amazing trip for my clients around the world! Wishing everyone a 2023 filled with happiness, travels and new experiences.

SABORA TENTED LODGE - Another day, another stunning lodge - not sure describing the 9 rooms as tents would ever do them justice. Just stunning and we had elephants wandering past as we checked in.
SINGITA GRUMETI - Hard to know where to start but the views from show you the scale of this 350,000 acre reserve which neighbours the Serengeti National Park - 3 lodges and 2 exclusive use properties gives a since of privacy and exclusivity to the Grumeti Reserve.
SINGITA KWITLONGA - Rwanda had already stolen a piece of my heart even before I arrived at the stunning Singita Kwitonda Lodge - I can’t think of a better base for the once in a lifetime experience of mountain gorilla 🦍 trekking.
WONDERFUL WILDLIFE - Just a few of my favourites from my time with - too many to choose from! Thank you Frank and Francis for indulging my big cat obsession!
MARA PLAINS - Left a little bit of my heart - from the amazing bridges at the entrance to the food to the hippo sink plug - loved it all! Especially having an amazing Canon 5D camera to play with on the game drives… Thank you for everything!
COTTAR’S CAMP - Next stop in the Masai Mara .safaris 1920s camp for an under canvas safari experience… and a truly amazing game drive. Thank you
AMAZING ANGAMA - A truly special introduction to the Mara Triangle staying and a truly epic first day of safari! Leopard in a tree, hunting cheetahs, lions and more! Thank you for talking me into adding it into my trip!
GIRAFFES 🦒- You don’t have to stay to go and say hi to the giraffes in Nairobi and some baby warthogs too…
FIRST SUNSET OVER AFRICA - Africa here we come… Excited for the next few weeks…
JOALI BEING - The first Wellbeing Island Retreat in the Maldives - three days here left us feeling relaxed and refreshed combined with all the usual perks of a Maldivian holiday.
GILI LANKANFUSHI - First stop of this little Maldives 2022 adventure and what a dream it was. Only 20 mins by speedboat from Malé - this is a wonderful option after a long haul flight. Rustic luxe at its best and amazing service and exception staff! Thank you Nicholas, Alif, Lyna, Lisa and the team for an amazing amazing staff.
THE BEAUTY OF TRAVEL - I am forever in awe of the joy travel brings me. Experiencing new cultures and destinations. Today I spent the day painting in a village in the Atlas Mountains and met this wonderful Berber woman who showed us round her house.
VILLA DES ORANGERS - The perfect first stop in Marrakech - is an oasis of calm in the city. Thank you for having me and thank you for organising

WILDERNESS RESERVE - Thank you for a magical retreat in the wonderful this one-bed cottage - Hayjack! The perfect escape from busy London surrounded by an 8000-acre estate of woodland, lakes and rolling pasture, sprinkled with an eclectic collection of houses for groups of all sizes. Thank you for organising!

WHERE TO NEXT? If you are dreaming of a 2022 escape, now is a great time to start planning. Pre-departure travel Covid tests to enter England from overseas will be scrapped from 04:00 on Friday - and from Sunday, arrivals won't need to take a PCR test and isolate before a negative result. Instead, just one lateral flow test will be needed after arrival - with no isolation while waiting for a result! So why not get in touch to discuss your dream escape…
