Four Ashes has been in our family for 350 years, and we are currently involved in a restoration and regeneration project to create a modern sustainable estate whilst retaining and restoring historic buildings and features. The Malt House is close to many great visitor attractions such as the magnificent hill town of Bridgnorth, the Severn Valley Railway and the West Midland Safari Park. Many Natio

nal Trust houses and gardens such as Dudmaston Hall and Whitwick Manor are close by, as is the world heritage site and birthplace of the industrial revolution at Ironbridge. The Black Country Museum and Dudley Zoo as well as the museums, art galleries theatres and musical venues of Birmingham are very accessible, as a contrast to the beautiful wild countryside of Shropshire, also on the doorstep. We can also recommend excellent local pubs and restaurants. There is plenty to do! Or you can just relax by the fire in the Malt House after estate walks and enjoy meals of home grown fruit and vegetables and beef from our estate Dexter cattle herd, or finest locally produced pork.
