Thanks so much to our Booking.com guests who have again awarded The Bridge Suite an overall score of 9.9 out of 10 for the year. As always, we're very grateful for all of your lovely reviews and high scoring feedback during the 2022 season!

So for the fifth year running we're officially "99% perfect"! 🙂

We're planning some improvements this year so maybe we'll finally hit 10/10 in 2023!

And while we're on the subject, even greater thanks go to our Airbnb guests who have consistently rated us a 100% perfect 5/5 for the last 5 years - they obviously know best! 😄

The diary for this year is already filling up so if you're planning a visit then be sure to get your dates reserved asap.

Hello there.
Welcome to 2023, we hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Hopefully only one new year's resolution was made by you all, and that was to visit the Highlands of Scotland and stay at The Bridge Suite!........... No?..... Then why not?.... Did you forget that one?.... No worries you can still do it and it can be the only resolution that you keep! 😉😁
We hope to see you at some point and we look forward to letting you know all about the area and our favourite and special out of the way places to visit.

To all our past and present guests, Thomas and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a happy New year.
We thank you all for your continued support in our venture to make The Bridge Suite the best it can be. We know times are hard at the moment for everyone, so we really appreciate the fact that you choose to stay with us.
Things have been difficult at times personally for us, but we continue to welcome guests and it makes it all so much better to see and hear laughter and joy when you stay here.
All the very best of wishes to you all, we hope 2023 will be your best year yet. Go out and grab life with both hands.

Just sitting in our lounge and up comes one of our Pine Martens that we feed here at The Bridge Suite every night. We have a few but this one was very early so we hadn't put out their food yet, so he made do with the bird feeder at our patio door. Thanks little one for letting me take some photos of you.
You never know what wildlife you can see just around The Bridge Suite, why not book a stay and see what you can spot.

Well we have had confirmation today from the Scottish government that vacation passports will not be extended to more venues than there are at the moment.
Just to clarify to those who are not sure of the Scottish regulations and are about to visit, a proof of vaccination or proof of a very recent negative covid test must be provided at large events such as football matches, concerts, large indoor and large outdoor events.
We are glad that the requirement for passports haven't been introduced for eateries, public houses, cinema and theatres as were first proposed but we would still urge all our guests to stick to the rules as set out by the Scottish government which are still compulsory here, by wearing your mask on public transport, in shops and when moving around cafés and bars to keep yourself and those around you safe.

The Bridge Suite is open to guests all year and spending time here in winter is a great way to experience a very different but equally spectacular side to life in the Highlands.

One of the things our summer guests will never get a chance to see is the amazing Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) and whilst there's no guarantee when it's going to happen there are usually several periods of high solar flare activity throughout the winter months.

These pictures were taken by ourselves a couple of weeks ago after a strong aurora KP index was forecast earlier that day.

If any of our winter guests are interested in seeing the aurora for themselves then we can give you links to various aurora forecasting websites and apps and you might just be lucky enough to be here at the right time!

Our recent posts have disappeared as we have switched away from Facebook's "New Page Experience" and back to the old style page due to technical issues we have experienced with not receiving notifications of page activity and with being unable to access the page properly on our mobile devices. Apologies to anyone whose posts are no longer showing but we couldn't persevere with this flawed new system any longer, it was far too frustrating!

A new feature in Invermoriston and surrounding area.
If you're visiting us and fancy a walk around the village and visiting sites in Glenmoriston, learning about the local area and its wildlife then this is a bit of fun for you.
And the local community benefits from the proceeds of the sales for community projects. So it's a win win for all.

Well what a time it's been for all of us!
Yesterday marked the 3rd anniversary of The Bridge Suite's first guest. And we are pleased as punch to still be able to welcome new and returning guest to our beautiful holiday accommodation. And we would like to thank everyone who has visited us over the last three years. You have helped make our Highland dream come true.
Over the past few months it's been so difficult for us in particular, in different ways, but we and our local community have pulled together to see each other through.
With the lifting of restrictions moving slowly but surely to a resolution we are ready to welcome even more lovely folk back to the Highlands and the stunning scenery that it holds.
We are still here, we are open and we are looking forward to seeing you soon in our updated suite.
Come visit the Highlands you won't be disappointed.

A lot of our guests enjoy a boat trip on Loch Ness during their stay and there are several different cruises to choose from departing from various different points along the northern shoreline between Fort Augustus and Inverness. They each explore a different section of the loch, but none of them offer a full circuit of the whole of Loch Ness which, at around 50 miles, would take all day.

But thanks to the magic of Google Maps, anyone can take a virtual cruise around the entire circumference of Loch Ness with their onboard StreetView tour (and it's guaranteed to be a nice sunny day too!)

Click the link below and you'll be transported out onto the water at the mouth of the River Moriston, less than a mile from The Bridge Suite, to start your tour, and don't forget to look out for Nessie on the way round! 😄
