We are pleased to announce that Equus Journeys has added an exciting ride in the high Andes of Argentina: Our new Cattle Drive on the Inca Trails!

Working with our long-standing and trusted partners, Eduardo and Tatiana, in the region, we invite adventurous riders to come and explore the beautiful landscapes of Argentina’s northwest while experiencing the life of the gaucho!

On this very special trail, you’ll ride up to 3000 metres (9000 feet), where the forest changes to high altitude grassland. You’ll round up the cattle grazing the open range and drive them to the ancient corrals, where the task is sorting, branding, doctoring.

This ride is for small groups of experienced riders, looking for a unique and authentic journey through an unspoiled area. In the land of the Andean condor, you can expect basic accommodation and long days in the saddle over rugged terrain, but you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views, night-time skies full of stars and relaxed evenings with stories around the campfire.

Happy Holidays from the Equus team!

We have had a wonderful year - our busiest to date!

In between bookings and updates, we were able to sneak out of the office and go on some very exciting trips ourselves (some of them pictured here).
Badminton and the Dublin Horse Show were also highlights of the season, and a great opportunity to meet new faces and see old friends.
Elizabeth also joined the team a few months ago - formal introductions to follow! 😄

We are super excited to introduce two new rides in beautiful Tunisia – an intriguing country with a fascinating history, rich and vibrant culture and a vast, diverse mix of landscapes on offer. Both rides -- which include the wonderful 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞 and captivating 𝐊𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 -- offer a nomadic journey for desert lovers and adventurous equestrians, and of course, some long, exhilarating canters on beautiful Arabian-Barb horses.
